Photo radars and monitoring

A trial period begun on May 19th
Since last Tuesday, motorists travelling in and around the 15 sites chosen for the pilot project in the Montréal, Montérégie and Chaudière-Appalaches regions have seen special signs on the side of the road indicating the presence of photo radar units and red light monitoring equipment.

http://www.objectifsecurite.gouv.qc.ca/offers comprehensive information on the pilot project, including important dates, the sites in question, the signs and the technology used, as well as the process for dealing with violations.
