The city of Sainte-Marthe-le-Lac is planning a slew of varied activities for the festive season, highlighted by the end of the COVID pandemic.

After a long imposed break, the City of Sainte-Marthe-le-Lac declared that it is able to once again invite all citizens aged 65 years and over at its traditional Seniors’ Day! This unifying event will take place in a brand new format, on Wednesday, December 7, from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., at the community center. Animation, music, dance, gift draw, visit from Santa Claus, Claudette Dion show and more are planned.
During the event, coffee and sweet and savory bites from Persil et compagnie will be served. A welcome cocktail will also be offered to all guests, courtesy of our partner the Chartwell L’Unique residence in Saint-Eustache. Participants are also encouraged to bring their alcoholic beverages for the event.
Meeting and photos with Santa Claus/December 11 at 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Since the young Marthelacquois and Marthelacquoises have all been very good this year, Santa Claus has decided to reward them by visiting on December 11 at the community center. The city is asking resident youths to get out their best clothes or their colorful and funny pajamas to come meet him and create beautiful memories with family, couple or friends. Following the meeting, each family or participant will leave with a 4×6 photo. According to the city places are limited and registration is mandatory.
Christmas decoration contest/November 30, 2022 at 8:00 a.m. – January 8, 2023 at 11:30 p.m.
Faithful to tradition and a matter of spreading the magic of the Holidays throughout its territory, the City of Sainte-Marthe-sur-le-Lac is also inviting its citizens to take part in the second edition of the Sainte-Marthe-sur-le-Lac s’illumine!
“Make the interior or exterior of your home sparkle or brighten up the facade of your business to help create a festive and magical atmosphere across the city. Whether you’re decorating with hundreds of lights or just plain decorating, everyone can participate! Several prizes to be won!” one can read in the city’s ammouncement.
