Young Theresians will be delighted to learn that they can extend their summer fun with brand new water games now installed at De Sève park! Located near the play modules already in place in the park. They are easily accessible from the entrance on rue Léonard.
Last February, a group of ten students from Terre-Soleil elementary school were asked to participate in the choice of the layout of the water games, giving their opinion on three proposals. This process created a lot of pride among the young participants. Some of them were also present during the official opening.
“We are delighted to have included the children in this selection process. After all, they are the primary users of these facilities! This exercise was a positive and enriching experience, both for the students and for the adults involved in the project. It is with great pleasure that we meet them again today to share this happy unveiling with them,” said Sylvie Surprenant, mayor of Sainte-Thérèse.
The water games are open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and access is free. On site, residents are asked to respect the distancing measures in force. Additionally, if someone has symptoms associated with COVID-19 (fever, cough, difficulty breathing, etc.) is asked to stay home
