The City of Boisbriand invites residents to install their outdoor Christmas lights and decorations now. In a month, on December 3, around 7:30 p.m., all of Boisbriand will be invited to take part in the great general illumination broadcast live on the City’s Facebook page and hosted by no one other than comedian Jean-Marc Parent.
“We can’t get together, but nothing prevents us from decorating our homes to get us into the holiday spirit. Imagine the effect if everyone turns on their lights at the same time! What a great way to combat the grayness of autumn, ”emphasized the mayoress of Boisbriand, Marlene Cordato.
Three easy steps to participate in the J’allume mes lumière with Jean-Marc event:
Install
Residents are invited to install their lights and outdoor Christmas decorations now. Everything is admissible: from inflatable structures to luminous deer to ice cubes!
Register
To follow the progress of participation in the event, citizens who have installed their lights are invited to fill out a form. A digital map, available on the City’s website, will display the addresses ready to light up on December 3. Participation prizes will be awarded at random among those registered.
Participate
The climax of J’allume mes lumière with Jean-Marc will happen on December 3, when the comedian himself will host the live count on Facebook page the Town’s! From 7:15 pm, spectators will be able to tune in to participate virtually in the illumination that will follow at 7:30 pm
The Town Hall will also be adorned with new luminous ornaments that will shine brightly throughout the month of December!
