The Integrated Health and Social Services Center (CISSS) des Laurentides announced that the COVID-19 vaccination campaign has passed the milestone of 500,000 doses administered in its territory. Vaccination activities are actively continuing in the ten vaccination centers in the Laurentians as well as at VacciBUS, which crisscrosses the Laurentians.
Since last December, this unprecedented operation for the CISSS des Laurentides requires the
deployment of a large number of resources. From material transport logistics to resources
human, all sectors are involved.
“We are very proud of the work accomplished so far and keep in mind the objective of administering two doses to all eligible Laurentians as soon as possible in order to improve considerably the immune protection of our population. We would like to thank everyone involved in this campaign, which is still actively going on,” said Caroline Chantal, director of the COVID-19 vaccination campaign.
The population of the Laurentians can count on the eight vaccination sites of the CISSS des Laurentides
spread throughout the territory, in addition to the vaccination sites in companies at Airbus and Bell
Textron, the community pharmacies in the region and the mobile vaccination VacciBus which hit
the road on June 19.
The CISSS des Laurentides reminds the population, vaccinated or not, that it is important to
continue to respect the health instructions in place.
