COVID-19 – resumption of sports activity classes for all ages in Deux-Montagnes

Following the government’s green light for the resumption of activities and classes for the adult population, winter programming is resuming for Deux-Montagnes. Residents aged 18 and over can restart their physical education activities as of Monday, February 14. The youth component resumed on Saturday, February 5, as announced over the past few days. The Recreation Department will communicate with those registered in each of the disciplines to confirm the start date of the courses and any other specific terms of participation in order to comply with the health measures in force.

Starting Wednesday, February 16, open badminton will also resume, every Wednesday from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Polyvalente Deux-Montagnes. Citizens will have to have their prepaid card, since cash is no longer accepted. It is possible to get one ($25 for 5 visits / non-resident $50) at the Service des loisirs or online on the Sport-Plus registration site.

Vaccination passport and valid proof of identity for people aged 13 and over is required.

Single game only OR double game are only for occupants of the same address and wearing a mask is compulsory at all times, even when practicing the activity.

There are no reservations since the first come, first served formula will be applied

If players are waiting for a pitch to become available, participants must give up the pitch after 1 hour of play. Players must have their own equipment and bring their already filled water bottle.
