2023 municipal calendar photography contest
Deux-Montagnes is once more calling on its population to show their photography skills to the benefit of the city’s The City’s 2023 municipal calendar. The Communications Department has put forth a call looking for the most beautiful shots of Deux-Montagnes and is launching a contest under the theme “ Seize the right moment ”. Thus, from August 9 to September 30, the citizens of Deux-Montagnes are invited to share their photo of the time when they were able to seize the perfect moment to capture what is worthy of admiration in many forms.
According to the city’s announcement, the department wants to highlight the natural and urban beauties of Deux-Montagnes. Whether it’s a ray of sunshine between the clouds, a sunset over the lake, a butterfly perfectly resting on a flower, an animal watching you or a sportsman in action.
To participate, a resident must be a citizen of Deux-Montagnes and be the creator of the photos submitted. Images must follow these rules:
Be taken on the territory of Deux-Montagnes (identified place). Be in horizontal format (landscape). Be in high resolution when put in letter format of 8 ½ in x 11 in. Be sent in digital version of a size greater than 1.5 MB (1500 KB). Have written consent if the photo shows recognizable people. Be sent by email to the communications department (email) by September 30, 11:59 p.m.: communications@ville.deux-montagnes.qc.ca
A selection of the most beautiful shots will be made by the communications team and the winners will be announced by the city of Deux-Montagnes around mid-October.
