The City of Bois-des-Filion has strict rules concerning solicitation in person at home on its territory. In recent weeks, the City has received declarations of illegal solicitations in Bois-des-Filion, so it is asking citizens to be vigilant when people come to their homes. Any business or organization wishing to go door-to-door must first request a permit from the City. The Terrebonne / Sainte-Anne-des-Plaines / Bois-des-Filion Police Department has been notified of the recent statements.
The next time someone rings a citizen’s doorbell to offer products or services, citizens are encouraged to get in the habit of asking that person or business for their valid solicitation permit from the City of Bois-des-Filion. If the person is not able to do so, residents are entitled to declare this peddler by contacting the Terrebonne / Sainte-Anne-des-Plaines / Bois-des-Filion Police Department directly.
