For a week and up until February 17, the green flag of academic perseverance was raised in front of the town hall of Blainville to mark the days devoted to this theme.
For this special this occasion, the City of Blainville and its municipal council highlighted the contribution of all those people who contribute to the educational path of young people: parents, teaching and support staff, workers, etc.

There are also important partners within the community. Among them, the Omega center. The Center Oméga’s prevention mission consists in offering accompaniment, support, listening, animation, and educational activities to young people under the age of 18 presenting risk factors that could eventually lead them to drop out of school. The center offers them time in the company of significant people, learning activities adapted to their needs and support in order to increase their current academic success and the likelihood of greater success in the future. They contribute, through the support offered directly to young people and their parents, to the fight against school and social distancing and dropout.
To fulfill its mission and achieve its objectives, the Omega Center works in collaboration with the various leaders in the region and shares its thoughts, expertise and collaboration with various committees and groups.
