The City of Boisbriand proudly offered gardeners a second community garden at Parc Filion, located at Cours Le Corbusier, near boul. from the Grande-Allée. This cultivable space is in addition to that already existing at the municipal nursery, which has been very successful since its creation.
“This is a great reuse of this space now dedicated to urban agriculture, right in the heart of a neighborhood! The garden has also been designed according to the transversal values that govern our projects, that is to say the environment and accessibility. I am very happy to announce that six lots are specifically designed for people with reduced mobility” affirmed the mayoress of Boisbriand, Marlene Cordato.

Created by the Environment division and entirely produced by the Public Works Department, the community garden has 27 regular lots and six raised lots suitable for people with reduced mobility. The space is also differentiated by its play area reserved for the next generation of gardeners and its relaxation area with a view of the garden.
These community gardens are reserved exclusively for registered citizens who cultivate a vegetable garden.
