L’hivernale de Deux-Montagnes: on saturday, february 4, citizens are invited to play outside

The City of Deux-Montagnes is pleased to invite the public to the 2nd edition of L’HIVERNALE, which will be held on Saturday, February 4, from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m., at Olympia Park. A family get-together not to be missed to enjoy the many joys of winter!

Animation, slide mound, skating, snow games, campfire, friendly hockey games, hot chocolate, food truck and much more! In the evening, the site will be beautifully illuminated and citizens will be able to skate with torches and to the sound of music.

A mascot is coming!

It is at the Hivernale that the new ambassador of the City of Deux-Montagnes will take his first bow in front of the crowd! At 4 p.m., the friendly mascot will attend the Panthères youth hockey game. Young and old are invited to meet him and young people to come and offer him hugs!

In addition, a competition will be launched on February 4 to find a name for it. More information about the competition will be available on the event site and on the City’s website in the coming days.

The programming includes from 3pm Music and entertainment, skating, sliding mound, course on snow, by the Fire Department, table games by the organization Le Ludusium, Giant games, mini soccer by FC Revolution and a reading tent by the Deux-Montagnes library. Hot chocolate will be offered free of charge by IGA Les marchés Lamoureux and prepared and served by the Maison des jeunes de Deux-Montagnes. There will also be storytelling for the whole family around the fire as well as friendly hockey games and performances by singer André Thériault around the fire.
